Riverside, CA – The Hope International University women's cross country team continued their season at the John Elders Titan Classic with Emma Timmermans improving on her school record while finishing 3rd in the 5K race overall.

Timmermans finished 3rd out of 69 runners with a time of 17:07.8 in the 5K Invite. Lupe Mata and Jazmin Zambrano also competed with Mata finishing in the 8th fastest time in school history with a time of 19:17.9 and Zambrano finishing in the 10th fastest time in school history with a time of 19:27.1.

The Royals will wrap up their season at the GSAC Championships on Friday, November 8 at 10:00 AM at Central Park in Santa Clarita, CA.
