Hope International University

Ashley Klopfenstein enters her second season as a member of the Hope International coaching staff. She was promoted to a full-time position after serving as a volunteer assistant for the 2026 season.

A 2024 graduate of Vanguard University, Klopfenstein played five seasons for the Lions, finishing her career with a .258 average, 77 runs scored, 114 hits and 57 RBI. She played in 184 career games with 173 starts.

In 2022, she earned the GSAC Gold Glove award at third base.

Klopfenstein, who earned her degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, also has coaching experience with the SoCal Sting T/G 16u Black and Mater Dei High School.
