Allie Puente

Coach Allie Puente serves as the Pitching Coach and Graduate Assistant for the Hope International University softball program, bringing elite-level experience and a proven track record to her vital coaching role. Her deep knowledge of pitching mechanics and competitive mindset have been instrumental in developing HIU’s pitching staff and elevating the team’s overall performance.

Outstanding Collegiate Career
A decorated athlete, Allie earned four NAIA All-American honors, including First Team recognition in 2023 and Second Team selections in 2021 and 2024. In her senior season, she recorded a 27–14 record with a 1.26 ERA and an impressive 316 strikeouts. She also led the NAIA with 394 strikeouts and posted a dominant 0.60 ERA in 2023.

Allie was a multiple-time GSAC Pitcher of the Year, named GSAC Freshman of the Year, and earned five GSAC Pitcher of the Week honors. Her freshman campaign featured an outstanding 0.93 ERA over 151 innings with 159 strikeouts and a 15–8 record.

As HIU’s all-time leader in wins (92) and strikeouts (1,230), Allie consistently delivered excellence on the mound.

In her role as HIU’s pitching coach, Allie has played a key part in the team’s success this season, helping to refine pitching techniques, strengthen mental toughness, and execute effective game strategies. Her hands-on approach and ability to mentor pitchers have significantly contributed to the Royals’ competitive edge and sustained success.
