Jillian Garcia

Jillian Garcia was named Assistant Coach for Hope International's Dance program in 2022. Prior to joining Hope International University as a coach, Jillian gained valuable experience teaching at local studios and choreographing halftime shows and competition routines for area high schools. During her college years, she had the privilege of collaborating with her teammates at Hope International University, where she helped choreograph and teach routines for game-day performances, showcases, and competitions.

During her time at Hope International University, Jillian served as Team Captain all four years and was honored with the Champions of Character Award in 2023. She was also a part of the first Competitive Dance Team at HIU to attend USA, UDA, and NAIA regular season competitions. As her career at HIU came to a close, Jillian had the privilege of helping lead her team to the NDA Nationals in 2023, where they secured the first-ever National Championship Title for Hip Hop in the NAIA category.

Jillian has been dancing since the age of 2 and began her competitive career at 8. Over the course of her journey, she has been trained and competed in all genres of dance. She further honed her skills as a member of the Sunny Hills High School Dance Production from 2016 to 2019. Following high school, Jillian was among the first dancers recruited to join the dance team at Hope International University in the fall of 2019.
