Bangasser is the founder and has been the head coach of the Director Aviator Volleyball Club since 2013. She also comes from Notre Dame Academy High School where she was the head junior varsity/assistant varsity coach from 2012-22.
Bangasser's coaching experience spans 25 years where she has coached for a variety of schools including the St. Bernard High School girls and boys program from 2009-2011 and 2013-2015, the El Segundo High School boys freshman/sophomore team in 2012 and New Roads High School from 2003-2009 where she was the head varsity coach. Prior to that she was the Cal State LA assistant women's coach from 2000-2001 and the University of Akron assistant women's coach from 1997-1999.
A graduate of the University of Akron Bangasser played volleyball there for four years where she led the national in blocks per game in 1995 during her senior season. After graduation she would go on to play internationally in Innsbruck, Austria from 1999-2000 and she also played professional beach volleyball from 1998-2016.
Bangasser has been married to Joseph Bangasser for two years and resides in Lakewood, CA with their German Shephard/Husky mix puppy Nala.
