Fullerton, CA - Three members of the Hope International men's and women's cross country team have been named 2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar Athletes as announced by the NAIA office on Tuesday afternoon.

Emma Timmermans, Jazmin Zambrano and Luis Diaz all received the award after meeting the standards laid about the NAIA. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution. The trio also earned GSAC Scholar Athlete honors after fulfilling the same criteria for the conference.
