Fullerton, CA – The 2024 Hope International University Royals women's soccer schedule was released today, as announced by Head Coach
Scott Dement. The 2024 season consists of 18 matches and two scrimmages with nine games at home. The defending GSAC Champions are looking to repeat and make it back to the NAIA Final site after their run last year that took them all the way to the quarterfinals before they fell to the eventual NAIA Champions.
The Royals will begin with two scrimmages against Azusa Pacific and Cal State San Bernardino before opening regular season play on the road at SOKA on Friday, August 30 at 7:00 PM in Aliso Viejo, CA. The Royals will then have their home opener against Oregon Tech on Saturday, September 7 at OC Great Park Field 18 in Irvine, CA. The Royals will then have two more non conference matches against La Sierra and Providence Christian. Beginning this year the Royals will see three new conference opponents as Park-Gilbert, Benedictine Mesa and Embry-Riddle (AZ) join the newly revamped Great Southwest Athletic Conference. The Royals kick off their conference play schedule on the road against Life Pacific on September 18 and then have their home conference opener against The Master's on Saturday, September 21. The Royals will play each conference opponent twice with conference play wrapping up at home on Saturday, November 2 against Embry-Riddle (AZ).
Seven of the nine home games will be played at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine, CA with four being played on field #18 and three in the Soccer Stadium. The other two home games will be played at Biola University in La Mirada, CA.
