RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Hope International STUNT took on Arizona State and easily defeated the Sun Devils 32-11 in the first day of the annual Joust Tournament held at California Baptist. 

The Royals led throughout the game and scored on every routine. The Sun Devils came close with their points, all resulting from "within 2" rounds. Power players for the game were Sophia Gonzalez,  Giselle Baeza, Andra Brenneman and Addy Drumond. 

HIU is now 5-1 all-time against Arizona State.

The Royals travel to Newburg, Ore. for the Pacific Northwest Open on Friday and Saturday. HIU faces George Fox and Texas Woman's on Friday at 3:30 and 8:00 p.m., respectively.
